The trumpet in our name and logo symbolizes an important announcement as well as the trumpet flowers honoring the deceased. Our symbolic name is respectfully displayed in gold foil on the front of each notification card and will be announced at the beginning of each phone call.

Signing up for Golden Trumpet's Death Notification Service is simple. Just register a list of those important people in your life whom you would like notified at the time of your death. You also identify the person of your choice who will contact Golden Trumpet upon your passing to set the notification process in motion.

A variety of Lifetime Membership packages are available which allow you to create a list of loved ones that Golden Trumpet will notify of your passing, either by phone or by U.S. Postal Service (you may choose to notify someone by both phone and mail; however, this counts as two notifications). Special discounts are given during your initial enrollment for larger blocks of notifications (see Order Notifications page for details). Golden Trumpet follows specific Policy and Procedures to ensure professional, accurate, and timely notification.

Part of your initial registration includes identifying a contact person who will be responsible for notifying Golden Trumpet immediately upon your passing. It is important that you discuss your wishes with this person so that they understand their responsibility to contact Golden Trumpet.

Golden Trumpet phone calls are made within 24 hours of being informed of your passing. Those people on your registered list will be notified of your death and pertinent details such as time and place of the visitation, funeral, burial, memorial service, and other important information at the family's request. We will also provide direction for acceptable contributions, i.e. flowers or monetary memorial contributions.

Golden Trumpet cards will be mailed through U.S. Postal Service within 48 hours and will most likely arrive after the funeral service has taken place. They will notify those you have registered of your death and will include place of interment or inurnment as well as a name and address where condolences may be sent to your family.
