Who should sign up for this service?
Anyone who is concerned about their family and friends being notified of their passing should register with Golden Trumpet. Our customers are young and old alike, both in good health and battling terminal illness. Death is no respecter of persons, so we encourage everyone to take these few, simple steps to provide peace of mind for themselves and their loved ones.

Who should I include on my notification list?
Golden Trumpet recommends registering people from your past and present that may not otherwise receive timely notification of your death. These may include, but are not limited to, high school friends, college friends, former neighbors, former co-workers and colleagues, military buddies, members of clubs, organizations, and leagues, as well as extended family members.

What is the length of service?
Length of service is for your lifetime and is valid until the time of your passing - regardless of months or years since your initial enrollment. You may edit your notification list at any time at no charge. Additional notifications may be added for a nominal fee.

Can I buy additional notifications after joining?
Yes. Additional units may be purchased and added at any time for $49 for a block of ten. It is not necessary to complete all ten at the time of purchase. Your registered notifications may be changed, edited, or updated at any time as long as you do not exceed your total notifications purchased.

Can I choose both U.S. Mail and phone notifications?
Your registered list may include U.S. Mail notifications, telephone notifications, or both. You may choose to notify some one way and some another, or you may choose to notify them by both means; it is entirely up to you. However, every notification counts separately toward your total. So, if you have Uncle Frank on your registered list to receive a phone call and to receive a letter, that counts as two notifications.

Who notifies Golden Trumpet of my death?
You identify the contact person and provide that person's name and relationship to Golden Trumpet upon enrollment for service. Please be sure that you personally talk with this person and let them know you have purchased this service and that it is their responsibility to contact us upon your passing. Golden Trumpet services can only be successful if we are contacted. The recommended timeframe for your contact to call us is within the first 24 hours. This is a very important part of the initial enrollment.

What if I purchase 20 notifications but do not have all the names, addresses, or phone numbers at the time of initial enrollment?
Golden Trumpet highly recommends registering names and completing notification information (address and/or phone number) as soon as possible. If you register 15 notifications initially but purchased 20, you may complete the remaining names and notification information for the remaining five at any time with no additional cost. There is no refund for notifications not used.

Can I make changes to my contact list by telephone if I do not have access to a computer?
No. For accuracy and documentation purposes, all changes must be made by logging into your account or through U.S. Mail.

How do I pay for services?
Registration and payment are available online through our website. We accept PayPal and secure online credit card payments.
